Following the retirement of Canon Sherry Bryan we are in a period where a new Priest in Charge must be found.
During this period all matters should be directed to the PCC Secretary.
RECRUITING A RECTOR
The search for a new Rector to replace Rev Canon Sherry Bryan, who retired last month, is well in hand with hopes that an appointment will be made in October.
Adverts are due to run in the Church Times throughout the summer with interviews scheduled for 11th October.
Shortlisted candidates are expected to tour the five parishes in what is now called the 'Camel Side Cluster' of Blisland, St Breward, Helland, St Mabyn and St Tudy with Michaelstow the day before interviews but we hope that interested clergy may visit the area while considering submitting their applications.
The cluster Profile document given to applicants presents such an enticing picture that one cynic was overheard saying it is almost worth getting ordained to get a job like that.
The successful applicant should be in post in the New Year.
St Tudy with Michaelstow PCC.
