Garden Party 2019

The sun shone and the flowers were blooming for our church Garden Party this year, held at the delightful gardens of the Rectory in Glebe Parc, and opened by Wendy Seymour, the rector's wife and green-fingered gardener!

Many thanks for opening your lovely gardens to the village. After the crowning of the Carnival royalty the fun and games commenced with the addition of beautiful clarinet music; many thanks to Emily and Sophie.

The cakes and cream teas were a great success and thank you to everyone who contributed to the delicious fare.

The plant stall was brimming with blooms thanks to Helen and John's green fingers.

We are most grateful to everyone for coming along and making the day such a happy occasion and especially to all those who donated prizes for the fantastic raffle, including a lovely hamper from St Tudy shop, and donations from the following local businesses: Rock Gin, Cedarcroft, Button Meats, Hengar Manor, Travis Perkins, Malcolm Barnecutt, Wadebridge Wines, Day Lewis pharmacy and Tesco.

Julie and Adrian were the lucky and well-deserved winners of the £100 first prize- congratulations!
