The Clink

 

 The  Clink is not available at the moment as we have 

 villagers who are using it as a work space. 

 However, St Tudy Church may be used for meetings. 

 Please contact us if you wish to use the church.

 There will be no charge, but a donation would

 be appreciated. 

The Clink (building on the left)

The Clink is a church house, later used as a school room and parish clink or lock-up, now used as parish rooms.

Circa C18, probably with earlier origins. Restored by the parish in 1986.

 

 

Charges for Hire:  

£12 per session.

£24 per session for both upstairs and downstairs.

£48 per day, if both upstairs and downstairs are used.

(A session is morning or afternoon, either upstairs or downstairs)

Downstairs:

Used for meetings, coffee mornings etc. 

Small kitchen with sink and facility for serving hot drinks.

Seats around 18 as laid out with tables and chairs for coffee mornings.

Heating is provided.

Easy access from road.

 

Upstairs:

Used for meetings, displays (i.e. art exhibitions) etc.

Seating capacity upstairs depends on how the room is laid out. 

Potenial for 40 people seated theatre style. 

Heating is provided

Please note that entry is via the outside steps at the side of the building.
